Role Overview:

As a Research Associate in Formulation Development, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to developing innovative and high-quality pharmaceutical formulations. You will contribute to various stages of formulation development, from initial concept to optimization and scale-up.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-formulation studies, including drug-excipient compatibility and solubility enhancement techniques.
• Develop and optimize various dosage forms (e.g., tablets, capsules, liquids, semi-solids).
• Design and execute laboratory experiments, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all experimental work, observations, and data.
• Prepare formulation development reports and technical documents.
• Support scale-up and technology transfer activities for developed formulations.
• Collaborate with the analytical development team for the characterization and stability testing of formulations.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct literature searches and stay updated with the latest advancements in formulation science.
• Train and mentor junior research associates and technicians.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new formulation technologies and techniques.

Qualifications:

• M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized university.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical formulation development.
• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical formulation principles, drug delivery systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Extensive knowledge of excipients and their roles in formulations.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of laboratory techniques and instrumentation used in formulation development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Analytical Development team. You will be responsible for the development, validation, and application of analytical methods to support the quality control and stability testing of pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize analytical methods using techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Spectroscopy (UV-Vis, IR), Mass Spectrometry (MS), and other relevant techniques.
• Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established methods.
• Participate in the validation and transfer of analytical methods.
• Prepare and review analytical reports, method validation protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct literature searches and stay updated with the latest advancements in analytical techniques and regulatory guidelines.
• Train and mentor junior analytical staff.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new analytical technologies and techniques.
